A Successful Placement Expedition | YS Placements

The college has a well functioning Training and Placement Cell for the Counseling and guidance of students. Usually, the students are provided with training in the final year of their undergraduate studies but this training of six months doesn’t assure the complete preparation of the students for the placement season and tough interviews. To ensure that the college can proffer a 100% placement record in the final year, YS College aims at providing training and placement sessions throughout the academic sessions

Commencing the first semester, students are trained in the art of conversation during the interviews. These sessions also add focus to the group interviews; the skills of negotiation and assertion also become an important part of these sessions. A separate module for enhancement of both the oral and written communication of the students has also been developed and implemented following which students are taught to make resumes, send official mails, make presentations, make deals and learn to market themselves efficiently within the corporate world. The placement cell of YS College not only equips students with skills to ace your interviews but also ensures the presence of top notch companies during the placement season.

In the last 6 years, more than 60 students have been placed in reputed companies like TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro. Not only in the technical world, but the graduates of YS College have also become an integral part of commercial banks like ICICI and HDFC banks.
